Peter Vassilis

Having started his career as an accountant, Pete quickly realised his passion for finance and property. He was then hired at Macquarie Bank, working in their securitisation and credit team, before moving to Bankwest for 8 years.

Pete’s hard-working; a doer; putting our clients first and foremost. He is also empathetic and selfless in nature, helping you feel confident that he and the team will be there to guide you through the process of finding the long-term lending solution that’s in your best interest.

When Pete’s got a moment to spare, he likes to spend it at different parks all around Sydney with the family.

Qualifications:
- University of Technology Sydney, Bachelor of Business / Finance and Accounting
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking
- Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking
- Diploma in Communications

John Lee

Mortgage Broker


Started his career in Finance at the peak of the pandemic due to stand-downs from his primary employment as an airline pilot. He has been able to learn and adapt quickly and has fast-tracked his knowledge to help borrowers achieve their goals.

John is hard-working and a go-getter; putting his clients first and foremost. He is also empathetic and genuine. He will make you feel comfortable from the onset and guide you through the entire finance process with confidence.

When John’s not talking finance or Captaining an aeroplane, he’s busy cooking the most amazing burgers for the family!

Qualifications:
- University of New South Wales - Bachelor of Aviation
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking

Shelley Anderson

Customer Service Manager


Shelley has been in the banking & finance field for many years, having previously worked at Bankwest in a lending capacity and is known for her unwavering commitment to providing Black & White Finance clients with the most special experiences.

Shelley is genuine, passionate and enjoys going above & beyond to help our clients.

One thing Shelley likes about working for Black and White Finance, aside from the wonderful people we get to meet each day, is taking off for a walk during the day to the beach, for a break with her dogs.

Karen Cheng

Customer Service Manager


Never is there a task too big or too small for Karen who has spent the last 7 years working in the industry.

Karen previously worked with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, and before this, for banks in China, in similar lending roles.

If Karen isn’t head down analysing a set of financial statements for a self employed borrower, she’s busy adventuring all around Sydney and clocking up those kilometers.

- Master of Commerce, University of New South Wales / International Professional Accounting
- Bachelor of Economics, University of International Business & Economics/ Internation Investment & Security Investment
- Chartered Accountant

Jaimee Vassilis

Director/Ops Manager


Jaimee co-founded Black & White Finance with Pete in 2017. Jaimee is actually a Radiographer by profession but has helped springboard and be the backbone to the business, handling all things operational.

Nowadays, Jaimee is less hands-on but still a significant part of the team.

When Jaimee isn’t working at the hospital or on the lappy, Jaimee loves the outdoors. Spending time with & cooking delicious meals for her family is what puts a smile on that dial.

Michael Archdall

Customer Service Manager


Michael has close to 8 years of experience in the banking & finance industry, having previously worked at Macquarie Bank before joining the team at Black & White Finance.

Michael is passionate about helping our clients achieve the best outcome possible, ensuring the experience is special - and has achieved amazing results so far.

As an Inner Westie Michael strongly believes you should still be able to afford a home whilst going out for that avo toast brunch.

- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking

Aimee Weeber

Customer Service Manager/Credit coach

Aimee is one our most our most experienced team members & also our credit coach.

Aimee has over 12+ years banking experience, previously worked at Bankwest as a senior credit analyst.

Outside of work, if Aimee isn’t spending countless hours at the dance with her daughters, Aimee is spending time at the park with her extended family and friends.
