Black and White Finance update - December 2017

What a journey 2017 was, thank you!

Thanks for being part of the Black & White Finance team in 2017. We’re incredibly proud of this year's achievements. We’ve provided educational digital resources to the community, teamed up with local businesses, supported charities such as Oz Harvest and laid a solid foundation for an exciting 2018.

We’ve enjoyed keeping finance simple, and helping people find simple long-term solutions to creating wealth.

Thank you to our star clients and working partners for your vote of confidence to help us become finalists across the various industry award categories.

While you’ve got your legs up this holiday season, please consider….

If you’re planning to hit the beach, jump on a boat, drive to the coast or simply enjoy the quieter period around the home, we hope you find the time to at least think about what your new financial goals are in 2018.  It doesn’t have to be a perfect plan, at least something that can be executed. Excessive planning can take way too long and sometimes blind us to the situation at hand, causing us to miss opportunities.

So, try keeping it simple and achievable. If it includes purchasing that property, refinancing that home loan to the cheapest rate on the market, constructing, buying that car, buying that boat or tractor, then let us help you with this.

Some experts predict that when Australia’s unemployment rate falls below 5 percent in 2018, home loan rates could rise once or twice so maybe it’s a decent time to consider fixing your home loan? Especially if you're paying a home loan rate that is much higher than what you should be. There are some sizzling hot fixed rates on the market and we have access to all of them. Food for thought.

Short time away from the desk:

We’ll be away from December 27, returning to work on January 3, so feel free to call, email or come visit us before or after then.

Peter Vassilis and Jaimee Vassilis

This is our last update for the year and we wish you a very happy holiday season, a Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you again in 2018 – cannot wait.

Cheers
Pete and Jaimee
