Scam alert: Black & White Finance impersonation calls

Unfortunately, it’s been brought to our attention, that scammers are out there, cold-calling people and trying to impersonate us. Listen here:

This scammer, is cold-calling people at random, pretending to be us and trying to sell our services. In an unauthorised manner, they’re using the mobile numbers of other ordinary people unknown to us and pretending to be from Black & White Finance. By chance, they called someone we actually know and we were able to record it - as above.

We’re a small team of 7 Australians (Jaimee’s missing in the picture below) based here in NSW and WA that have worked super hard over the years to build our business, with strong values, ethics, and integrity. We’ve not cold-called anyone.

We’re now chatting with NSW Police, have raised cases with Scamwatch, and The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), and are liaising with our Aggregator and Cyber Security professionals.

As you know, we use smart and secure technologies to keep our new and existing client information safe. We use 2-factor authentication methods and encrypted platforms. No person on our data base has been affected, and no person outside of our Black & White Finance community as we know has been affected either. It’s a bit of a nuisance to deal with at the moment and scammers are targeting everyone but we hope that by raising awareness, they bugger off or better yet, get caught.
